What a validation is

Not a yes or no. A conversation about your best work.

A validation draws out the best work you've done on a capability, and the decisions you've made. Someone who saw it confirms what they saw and says, in their own words, where your judgment showed. Or a product leader from the panel talks it through with you for 45 minutes.

It is
  • ✓A conversation about your real work, with someone who saw it or knows the job
  • ✓Your strongest moments, point by point, in their words
  • ✓Yours to accept before anything goes on your record
It isn't
  • ✕A pass or fail
  • ✕A hire or no-hire decision
  • ✕A rating, a score or a reference check
For product managers

Stand out on proof, not polish.

  • ✓
    Backed claims set you apart

Every capability on your record can carry a co-worker’s confirmation or an expert’s star. A claim alone looks like everyone else’s.

  • ✓
    Read for capabilities, not titles

Done PM work without the PM title? Valid. maps what you actually did to the capability library, and that is what hiring teams match on.

  • ✓
    Honesty is rewarded

Mark where AI did the work and where your judgment did. Validators confirm only what they saw, and hiring teams rank the confirmed, not the polished.

  • ✓
    Only verified hiring teams

Every hiring contact is checked against their company before a job goes live: a work email, or a LinkedIn check by us.

  • ✓
    You hear back

Shortlisted or not, every applicant hears from us before a role closes. No ghosting.

For hiring teams

Read a shortlist, not a pile.

  • ✓
    No sifting through hundreds

Required capabilities decide who can apply, so a role draws the few who qualify, not the few hundred who clicked.

  • ✓
    Signal sorted for you

Applicants are ranked by validated proof, expert then co-worker, before you open a single record.

  • ✓
    Ranked on backed claims

Every validation shows who confirmed it, their role and where they worked together. Not self-reported.

Why it works

A signal hiring teams can trust.

01

Confirmed point by point.

A manager, peer or client confirms each claim and says where they saw your judgment in action. They confirm it's them with a one-time code sent to their work email first. Facts, not a rating.

For hiring teams

Hire on proof.

01

Name what the role needs

Pick one or two Required capabilities from the library. Required means validated: a claim alone doesn’t qualify.

02

See proof first

Candidates are ranked by validated proof, expert then co-worker, not by keywords or how polished the résumé is.

03

Know who said what

Every validation shows the validator’s name, their role and where they worked together. You judge the source.

A note from the founder

I've watched extraordinary people get filtered out by a document that couldn't describe them. Meanwhile the work itself changed completely: the person who redesigned their whole workflow around AI last year has no way to say so that anyone believes.

So we started from a different question: not where have you worked, but what can you do, and who can vouch for it. Answering that honestly takes other humans. That's the whole product.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Is it free?

Co-worker validations are free. Your first expert validation is free in November; after that, expert sessions are paid, and you'll always see the price before you're asked to pay. Hiring teams post free while we launch. See pricing.

What's the difference between a co-worker validation and an expert validation?

A co-worker vouches for what happened. Someone who worked with you, like a manager, peer or client, confirms the specific work they saw first-hand and says in their own words where your judgment showed. It takes them a few minutes, and a code sent to their work email proves it's really them.

An expert draws out the thinking behind it. A product leader from our panel, who hasn't worked with you, spends 45 minutes talking through your real work on one or two capabilities: what you did, the decisions you made and why. What they identify goes on your record as an expert validation, with the gold star. It's the way in when there's no co-worker to ask, or when you want an independent read. Hiring teams always see which kind each validation is.

I have several versions of my résumé. Which one do I use?

All of them, combined. Paste every version into ChatGPT or Claude and ask for one résumé that keeps every role and accomplishment in your own words, without adding anything. Then give Valid. that one. Combine, don't polish: your co-workers will be asked to confirm what's on it.

Which roles can use it today?

Product managers, right now. More roles are coming: join the waitlist and tell us yours, so we know which to build next.

I can't ask my current manager. Now what?

Ask a former manager, a peer or a client who saw the work. No one to ask at all? Request an expert: a product leader from the panel talks through your real work with you and identifies the best of it. That goes on your record as an expert validation, with the gold star, and the star can't be bought.

Is the expert session recorded?

You and the expert both agree to recording before the call is booked. The expert's private session notes are never shown to you or to hiring teams.

Do you sell my data or use it for ads?

No. Hiring teams see only what your visibility setting allows.
